The Challenge



Client: Tommies (Greenco)

In this project, Greenco needed a new packaging design for a new variety of snack tomatoes called tomberries for their subsudiery brand Tommies. They were struggling to put this high-end product onto the market and asked my team to help them with this.
Ideation
My group group decided to target the on-the-go consumers. For them, it is important to inclulde a good visibility and ventilation of the tomatoes, as well as the easiness and efficiency to open the package and consume tomberries.








Prototyping













We explored different variations of the final design. We made versions where glue is needed and less material is used and other versions where glue it not needed as the folds of the packaging holds everything together in place. I used Solidworks to create the blueprints and send them to the laser machine to cut the shapes out.
