I am Martin, half Spanish, half German. I am currently living in Rotterdam where I am completed  my bachelors in Industrial Design Engineering at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

 

I was born in Tokyo and grew up in Asia for around 12 years where I experienced many cultures that have had an impact in my life. Growing up in both Europe and Asia has provided me with many benefits in understanding the different needs of people based on culture and setting. ​

 

Others describe me as a creative and diligent individual as I have always enjoyed partaking in design thinking, building and overall hands-on problem solving. I have grown to enjoy DIYs and create my own solutions based on my personal needs, which has helped me to better understand users.​​

Furthermore, sustainability is something I aspire to apply in my work, as I aim to create and influence products that benefit the environment.  ​

I am also striving to become an industrial designer with a purpose of creating modern and artistic designs of everyday items & objects looking for the maximum comfort when being used.
